Eco Houses

The Eco-Houses are 2200 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom houses that feature a shared pool, great ocean views, private forested settings, alternative energy packages, and full furniture packages.  These homes have wireless internet, large covered outdoor patios, and walls that move to integrate the indoor and out door spaces

Eco House roofs include a two-layered channeled passive cooling system that keeps the house cool even on the hottest days. The houses are located on top of a forested ridge that provides a Pacific view and catches the easterly off shore breeze.  The design includes roof overhangs, which keeps the sun and rain out, cooling passively. Many nights you will sleep with a blanket.

The Eco-Houses come with custom hardwood finishes, cabinets and shelving by Simplemente Madera. They also include stone countertops, bamboo ceilings, inlaid wooden floor sections, hand crafted copper faucets, hand crafted indoor/outdoor lighting and a large covered outdoor patio area. The indoor and outdoor are easily integrated with moving walls.
Each Eco-House has 2 large bedrooms that can be opened up to the rest of the house with large sliding doors. The bathrooms include two sinks each and a large hand crafted wooden closet. The showers enjoy a view onto the indoor/outdoor gardens giving you the feeling of an outdoor shower with ample privacy.

A small porch area near the front door is accessed via a lighted cut-stone pathway, which leads to the parking area. Just in case you feel like working or checking your email an internet router sits upon a desk in study area.
The Kitchen and living room area are all one large open space. The Kitchen has custom wood cabinets and a mixture between stone, wood, and concrete countertops.

Creative spot and flood lighting throughout the house and garden areas accents the architectural detail and the surrounding forest giving a unique warm and accented glow.

The Eco-Houses sit on a sloping ridge within the project with a peaceful view of the ocean and surrounding forest. You will hear howler monkeys in the wind as you sleep at night. The five houses share a 50-foot long ocean view pool with infinity edge. It is surrounded by landscaped poolside terraces, which include a built in BBQ and picnic area. The houses sit on approximately 1300-mt sq of titled land and a further 8 acres of untouchable buffer zone has been designated in front and behind the development giving them a real feeling of privacy.
